Καλό Μήνα*: A monthly Greek email to start the month on a good note!
Every 1st of the month, you get a small piece of Greek language and culture written entirely in Greek. Most weeks, you'll also get my weekly Greek Notes with more to dig into, with occasional updates when classes & language trips open.
See you inside?
~ Danae ☀️
*Καλό μήνα (“kalo mina”) means “(Have) a good month” in Greek, and we say it on the 1st of each month.

How it all started…
It began in 2016 - one small email, as a way to connect with a handful of people who'd found their way to my classes.
Ten years later, that one email has grown into a whole community of Greek enthusiasts: heritage speakers, polyglots, and Greek-obsessed learners from all over the world all still asking, in their own way, for a little more Greek in their week. One thing I didn't expect was how much the newsletter would become a conversation, not just me sending emails into the void.
Here’s what you’ll now find inside the newsletter:
Greek language learning top tips & techniques
Exclusive discounts & offers only for subscribers (these don't appear on the website!)
Invitations to lessons online & in Greece, in our Language Trips!
Handpicked resources to support your learning
✨ New ✨ Starting September 2026, Greek Notes has a ‘sibling’ newsletter, “Καλό Μήνα” (‘Kalo Mina’ - a wish for a good month ahead). Sent on the 1st of each month, entirely in Greek, it's a small monthly moment to read, absorb, and enjoy the language on its own.
That's really what Greek Notes has always been about: not just tips and updates, but a small, steady way to stay close to the language between classes, build community and keep moving forward on this fascinating language journey.
You might receive some Greek sunshine too :-) but no spam, ever. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Ευχαριστώ — thank you for trusting me for your Greek language journey,
~ Δανάη ☀️
