  • Beginner Level 1

    In the A1 level:
    - Learn greetings & introductions, ask & understand directions & basic information, talk about yourself, order at a cafe/restaurant.
    - Study the present tense, basic nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
    - Use over 600 words.

  • Beginner Level 2

    In the A2 level:
    - Talk about & understand daily activities, daily shopping, past & future events in your life. Also, make travel plans, talk about the time (days, months etc.) & the weather.
    - Study the simple past (aorist), simple future & subjunctive, the plural of basic nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
    - Use over 1700 words.

  • Intermediate Level 1

    In the B1 level:
    - Talk about & understand a variety of topics (everyday routine, daily life in Greece, travel, literature, climate, the media, Greek celebrations etc.)
    - Review the simple past (aorist), simple future & subjunctive, study the past continuous, the passive voice & expand your knowledge on nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
    - Use over 3000 words.

  • Intermediate Level 2

    In the B2 level:
    - Talk about & understand a large variety of topics, express your opinion, agree/disagree, make plans, give advice, give clear descriptions & details.
    - Review the subjunctive & the past tenses, study the passive voice, the conditional, various types of clauses, and expand your knowledge on nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
    - Use over 3500 words.

Important to know:

  • My online classes are built for motivated adult learners who are ready to commit to speaking Greek. Since classes are live, interactive, and homework-based, you'll get the most out of them if:

    • You're comfortable with technology (joining Zoom calls, clicking links, uploading and downloading files, finding materials I share)

    • You're ready to show up consistently and do the homework between classes

    • You're here to make real progress

    If you're looking for casual conversation practice without homework or a structured pace, the online Chats Greek Club might be a better starting point.

  • We run classes in 3 terms a year, so there's always a next one coming up:

    Term 1 - September to November
    Term 2 - December to February > apply here
    Term 3 - March to early June
    Exact dates for each term are announced closer to the time.

  • Current students get priority. New students fill out a short form with a quick writing sample (not a formal test!) so I can get a sense of your level. From there, we'll set up a short interview - your official placement, plus a chance to ask any questions before you commit. Applications are reviewed first-come, first-served. Complete beginners are welcome to join our info Zoom session first.

  • All our online students get free weekly conversation practice in the Chats/Κουβέντες Club (regular value $225 for non-students); just enroll in at least one term this learning year and join the weekly conversation groups and our online Chats Library with 150+ video lessons, audio, transcript, quizzes and more!   • Classes follow CEFR & Ellinomatheia levels (content/objectives only, not exam prep). Class content is listed below each level. A "+" (e.g. "A1+") means a group has started that level and is progressing within it.

  • Each level takes 3 terms to complete (30 hours of class time) for students starting from the beginning of that level. If you're joining partway through, you may need fewer terms to finish. Along the way, you'll also have homework and weekly speaking practice in our Chats Club.

  • At the end of every term, you get something most language schools don't offer: a free, personal 20-minute consultation with me, one-on-one, to review your progress and plan your next steps.

  • The online material is free; the course book (Ελληνικά στο Πι+Φι 1 & 2) is a separate cost.

  • Just three things: be on time, be fully present (no multitasking!), and complete homework by the deadline. Simple commitments that keep the class moving and help you make progress.

  • All payments are final - no refunds once a spot is reserved. Missed lessons or sessions cannot be carried over or credited.

    Exception: In case of a serious matter preventing completion, contact me as soon as possible. At my discretion, remaining hours may be carried over to the following term only (e.g., spring → the following September).
