Greek Language & Culture trip in Corfu

Each weekly program runs from Monday - Friday.
Lesson time for a class of 6+ students is 4 hours.
Small group (3-5 students) lesson time is 3 hours.
Semi-private (2 students) is 2 hours.
1-1 lessons: In case the registration is low in a group class, the student of that class will learn in a 1-1 format with the same fee. 1-1 class time is 90 minutes.
Students of 1-1 lessons take part in the activities with the students of all classes.

When combining or joining 2 trips within the same calendar year, you receive an extra discount of $50 USD.
The fee includes the lessons, participation to the planned outdoor learning activities, an exclusive tour to significant locations, one traditional meal, the “Corfu activity booklet”, and class snacks. Please note that the course book, travel expenses, accommodation, insurance, extra meals, or other expenses are not included in the fee.

This is an intensive program that helps you with all aspects of the language, with major focus on speaking, listening & communicating in Greek. Before you join any group or 1-1 class, you’ll take a placement test. In the class, you’ll work with a course book (Ελληνικά στο Π + Φ1, Ελληνικά στο Π + Φ2, or Ταξίδι στην Ελλάδα 3) & other materials. You will complete various activities, in both writing and speaking, in the class and as homework.

1) Cancellations made by the student 90 calendar days or more before the program's start date: the student will receive a total refund, minus any bank fees. Example: The program's start date is May 14th, the last day to receive a full refund is February 13th.
2) Cancellations made by the student less than 90 calendar days OR by Danae Florou | Alpha Beta Greek: the student receives a credit for Greek programs or classes taught in person or virtually (valid for 2 years, from the day of cancellation). Please note that in case of cancellation by Danae Florou | Alpha Beta Greek, there is no refund for tickets, accommodation or any other refund for any expense made by the student.
3) For any refund request, the student is charged any bank charges and fees. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to show on your account.

Γεια σας! I’m Danae Florou and I’ve been teaching the Greek language as a second/foreign language since 2003.
After my graduation in 2005 from the Department of Greek language & Literature at the University of Thrace, Greece, I earned my MEd in Second Language Education at the University of Toronto. My teaching approach is calm, friendly and inclusive. When you learn with me, you’re always encouraged in a gentle & supportive way, and you’re always valued for the knowledge & experience you bring.
