Beginner Level 1
In the A1 level:
-Learn greetings & introductions, ask & understand directions & basic information, talk about yourself, order at a cafe/restaurant.
-Study the present tense, basic nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
- Use over 600 words.

Beginner Level 2
In the A2 level:
- Talk about & understand daily activities, daily shopping, past & future events in your life. Also, make travel plans, talk about the time (days, months etc.) & the weather.
- Study the simple past (aorist), simple future & subjunctive, the plural of basic nouns, adjectives & pronouns.
- Use over 1700 words.10 weeks of classes @ $225 USD

Intermediate Level 1
In the B1 level:
- Talk about & understand a variety of topics (everyday routine, daily life in Greece, travel, literature, climate, the media, Greek celebrations etc.)
- Review the simple past (aorist), simple future & subjunctive, study the past continuous, the passive voice & expand your knowledge on nouns, adjectives & pronouns.

Intermediate Level 2
In the B2 level:
- Talk about & understand a large variety of topics, express your opinion, agree/disagree, make plans, give advice, give clear descriptions & details.
- Review the subjunctive & the past tenses, study the passive voice, the conditional, various types of clauses, and expand your knowledge on nouns, adjectives & pronouns.

Important to know:
What you learn: Class content and learning objectives follow the CEFR & Ellinomatheia official levels (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Please note that this is related to the content & objectives only; the classes do not prepare students for the exams.
Your learning materials: All beginner & intermediate students learn with the online material (free of charge) AND the course book for each level (Ελληνικά στο Πι+Φι 1 και 2). The course book fee is not included in the price. Advanced student? Click here for the Advanced level speaking program.
How to register: Registrations for the next Term open September 1st 2026. Current students register by priority. All non-current students are required to take the placement test & short interview before starting a class - don’t worry, it’s friendly, casual and helpful for your learning! Your placement is based 60% on your speaking skills, and 40% on grammar & vocabulary knowledge. Complete beginner students (no prior knowledge) are welcome to attend the information Zoom session, and ask any questions before signing up to the class.
FREE conversation practice: All students at the online classes have free access to the Chats/Κουβέντες Club (value $225), where you can attend up to ~4 weekly practice sessions from September - June (up to 2 hours of weekly speaking practice). To attend for free, students must sign up to the online classes for at least one term in the learning year 2026-2027.
How long does it take to complete a level? To complete a level you attend up to 3 terms/30 hours of class time, depending on your current needs and skills level. Each term is completed in 10 weeks (10 classes of 55 minutes each), and includes up to 2 hours of weekly speaking practice (depending on your schedule & speaking group availability), plus your weekly homework.
In some cases, your teacher might suggest a different learning plan, depending on your individual needs.
Refund/Cancellation policy: All payments are final. Once a student signs up and reserves a spot to a class, there is no refund. In the event of non-attendance, students cannot carry over any remaining hours and cannot receive any credit.
Student Contract: Upon registration, students agree to be in class on time, be fully present during class without any distractions, and complete their homework by the deadline.
